OPEN RECORDS
Open Records provides a mechanism for citizens to view our government records. It also provides for instances in which governmental bodies may elect to, or are required by law to, withhold government records from the public.
The City of Grapeland supports a transparent local government, and accepts written records requests by:

PLEASE NOTE:
Duplication and voluminous requests will take longer.
Requests will be addressed in the order that they were received.
The City requests that each requester provide contact information in their written request. This will include a telephone number where you can be reached. Staff can only communicate with you with the contact information that you provide in your records requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE REQUESTER:
You must submit a written request according to a governmental body’s reasonable procedures.
