The City of Grapeland serves its taxpayers in a fiscally responsible manner by setting and monitoring budget goals while investing City funds into projects that will ensure quality of the city for years to come. The city council is always searching for ways to improve the city whilst increasing cost-efficiency while complying with the city, state and federal rules and regulations set forth.

Each year, the City is audited, and it's annual budget is evaluated and voted on. The Council is presented with what is required to run the City daily, and also presents future goals for improving the City.  Issues brought up include: law enforcement, code enforcement and community involvement. A detailed plan is then put into motion to better serve you, the taxpayer.
